Organisational Learning & Development
The Organisational Learning and Development department situated at IFAP North Lake is responsible for the following areas.
RTO (Registered Training Organisation)
One of the SRD's primary responsibilities is the management and co-ordination of IFAP’s certification as a Registered Training Organisation. This ensures the maintenance and review of internal AQTF standards and policies are conducted regularly and in accordance with the AQTF (Australian Quality Training Framework).
In addition, the accreditation of IFAP courses is sought and maintained, aligning them to the established and emerging National Training Package.
By maintaining IFAP’s RTO status, IFAP is able to further develop partnerships and alliances with client organisations and similar organisations with differing portfolios of services.
Systems
Includes the identification and development of standards and strategic development pathways for IFAP’s software and IT infrastructure as well as Standard setting and performance management of IFAP’s approach to value-add client needs via web-based technology.
Research and Development
The SRD Business Unit has a critical role in identifying current and emerging technologies – enhancing the development of new products; and to provide information dissemination of information and accessability of OSH solutions for IFAP’s clients.
