IFAP Fremantle - Offshore and Maritime Training Centre

The IFAP Offshore and Maritime Training Centre was constructed specifically to provide world class training and practical experience for a variety of life-threatening emergencies. In particular, it trains for response to:

  • Helicopter underwater escape training (HUET)
  • Helicopter winching
  • Basic offshore survival
  • Liferaft and life jacket training
  • Operation of Totally Enclosed Motorised Survival Craft (lifeboats)
  • Fast Rescue Craft crew training
  • Basic fire fighting
  • Escape from a smoke filled building
