IFAP is a single-point provider of Major Hazards and Emergency Management training. The IFAP Major Hazards and Emergency Management (MHEM) team provide consultancy and training services to clients across all industries and operations.

A range of comprehensive services are available including Risk Assessment, Emergency Plans and Procedures Preparation and Review, Major Hazards and Emergency Management Training and the Preparation and conduct of Exercises.

IFAP held its second International Crisis and Emergency Management Conference on May 21-22, 2008. This is a bi-annual conference, with the next event due to be held in 2010.

Location

Major Hazards and Emergency Management courses are conducted at our Fremantle Facility located at Koolinda House, Ground Floor, 1 Port Beach Road, North Fremantle.

Bookings

Course bookings can be made by phoning IFAP on 1300 IFAP 00 / 1300 4327 00.

Arrangements for customised and on-site training are made after discussion with an IFAP Consultant and will be confirmed in a written IFAP proposal. Early bookings will ensure places are available.

Phone bookings are only an indication and must be confirmed in writing. IFAP will require the name of the person attending, the course name and date and an indication of the method of payment.

Using the latest technology, in conjunction with their unique training simulators, IFAP's Crisis and Emergency Management training and consulting solutions can be customised to suit any industry sector or potential scenario. Training solutions can be delivered via the purpose-built facility located in Adelaide House, Perth, or can be conducted on any operational site via a portable simulator. Further scenarios can be designed to reflect real-life business activities and risks, which add a sense of reality to any training event.

A team with the right skills and degree of understanding will be able to set response and prevention strategies in the event of a crisis to minimise the impact on reputation, operability and liabilities.

We recognise that our client's operations may be at numerous locations around the world, therefore we have invested capital into the development of a portable simulator that can be transported to clients' sites and offices in any location. This mobility translates to benefits for our clients in minimising their travel costs. Alternatively, clients can travel to IFAP's customised training centre in Perth, Western Australia.

Cancellation/Variation Policy

All cancellations or variations to course bookings must be received in writing. No refunds will be given for cancellation of a booking received in less than 3 working days of course commencement. A change to another course date may be made at no additional charge, if more than 3 working days notice is given. Any changes made in less than 3 working days will incur an Administration Fee. A Substitution can be made prior to course commencement at no additional charge. Should a student fail to attend or complete a course for which they have been enrolled, 100% payment is required.

Cancellation by IFAP

IFAP will refund in full any deposits/ payment received for any course that it cancels. IFAP reserves the right to cancel courses without notice. IFAP will not be liable for any claims arising from course cancellation.

Payment Terms

All bookings must be confirmed with payment in full, at least 5 days prior to the commenceent of the course. Members and account customers can confirm with Purchse Order (a copy of the Purchase Order is required prior to commencement of the course. Terms of payment 14 days from date of invoice). IFAP reserves the right to withdraw any participant from a course if payment has not been received in accordance with our Payment Terms. IFAP reserves the right to alter any price, service, condition or the availability of any service or item without further notice.
