Customised Training - your site or ours

IFAP can customise any of its training courses to suit your situation and your organisation's procedures and practices. For example you may want a course which includes an introduction to safety for supervisors plus some detailed training on manual handling. Another option often used is to combine IFAP's equipment operation courses: for example a combined skid steer loader and forklift course.

OSH Training Course Design, Preparation & Needs Analysis

IFAP can assess OSH training needs and then design and prepare a training course or program to meet those needs. How much of this you want IFAP to do is your choice - we can do it all (including training delivery) or just one part of it. The benefit to you and your organisation is that your usual safety program continues without disruption _ no need to allocate a month away from normal duties to develop a training course. Now, as a QETO, IFAP can also prepare your training for National Accreditation.

For example: recently IFAP developed a safety induction training package for a national association of equipment users. This accredited Nationally Recognised Training package is owned by the association and run by trainers they select in each state. IFAP's preparation included an analysis of the specific training need, design of a course and preparation of training materials for use by trainers and trainees.

Safety Audits & Regulatory Compliance Assessments

  • IFAP has Assessors accredited by WorkSafe Western Australia to conduct WorkSafe Plan Assessments. IFAP can work as an External Assessor to assess against Company Standards. IFAP can conduct Compliance Audits to provide a report to any organisation on compliance with Legislation, Regulations and Standards. This includes a review of Certificates of Competency for operation of machinery and for specialist skills. It answers every manager's question (as required by law): Do we meet the legally required safety standards?
  • IFAP can conduct specific Hazard Assessments to provide a report on matters such as: noise, manual handling, hazardous substances, radiation, fire, lifting practices and general hazard overviews.
