Training in safe operation of equipment and to achieve government safety authority National High Risk Work Licences.
Location
All Construction and Equipment Skills Courses are conducted at our North Lake Training Centre and some of these courses are also conducted at our Kalgoorlie Training Centre and can be conducted at our Darwin Training Centre.
Entry Requirements
Where WorkSafe Western Australia issues licences:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age (forklift only).
- Applicants must be able to use the English language at a level that is appropriate to the safe use and operation of the particular equipment as specified in the competency standards.
- An application form (for the relevant licence applied for) must be completed.
Bookings
Course bookings can be made by phoning IFAP on 1300 4327 00, Kalgoorlie on (08) 9021 5569 or Darwin on (08) 8947 0404.
Arrangements for customised and on-site training are made after discussion with an IFAP Consultant and will be confirmed in a written IFAP proposal. Early bookings will ensure places are available.
Phone bookings are only an indication and must be confirmed in writing. IFAP will require the name of the person attending, the course name and date and an indication of the method of payment.
Cancellation/Variation Policy
All cancellations or variations to course bookings must be received in writing. No refunds will be given for cancellation of a booking received in less than 3 working days of course commencement. A change to another course date may be made at no additional charge, if more than 3 working days notice is given. Any changes made in less than 3 working days will incur an Administration Fee. A Substitution can be made prior to course commencement at no additional charge. Should a student fail to attend or complete a course for which they have been enrolled, 100% payment is required.
Cancellation by IFAP
IFAP will refund in full any deposits/ payment received for any course that it cancels. IFAP reserves the right to cancel courses without notice. IFAP will not be liable for any claims arising from course cancellation.
Payment Terms
All bookings must be confirmed with payment in full, at least 5 days prior to the commenceent of the course. Members and account customers can confirm with Purchse Order (a copy of the Purchase Order is required prior to commencement of the course. Terms of payment 14 days from date of invoice). IFAP reserves the right to withdraw any participant from a course if payment has not been received in accordance with our Payment Terms. IFAP reserves the right to alter any price, service, condition or the availability of any service or item without further notice.
