About Us

At IFAP (Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention), we’ve been at the leading edge of workplace health and safety since 1962, continually setting the health and safety training benchmark for all industries.

We are an independent, not-for-profit, member-based organisation governed by a Board of Directors. IFAP is an approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 1907) regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). This status recognises IFAP's commitment to provide quality vocational education and training to industry and learners. We are also accredited with NEBOSH, OPITO and AMSA.

With three training centres located in WA, IFAP trains and educates more than 16,000 people annually across a host of disciplines and offers integrated health and safety consulting services, information resources and safety products as well organising industry networking events and conferences.

We currently have more than 1,500 members within our organisation – businesses and individuals – with more joining us every year.
