IFAP’s Trainers/Assessors ensure that their skills and knowledge remain current in order to be leaders in industry.
Wendy has been contracted to provide Mental Health training via the Australian Medical Association RTO. Wendy originally trained as a Social Worker. Being an advocate for life- long learning she obtained her Masters in Psychology and is now a registered Psychologist and a Cert IV Trainer and Assessor. Wendy has worked in the resources industry, private practice and the not for profit sector and has a strong background in developing and delivering high quality education sessions to both parents and professionals. Early intervention and prevention is her passion
Tony joined IFAP as a Skills Consultant in October 2005 and has been involved with skills training since 2001. Tony’s experience includes extensive experience in Scaffolding, Dogging and Rigging in both constructions, civil and mining projects.
Richard joined IFAP in February 2012 as a Technical Specialist to provide specialist Oil & Gas consulting and training. An experienced professional Safety Training Co-ordinator / Paramedic who over the last 30 years has developed superior attributes that encompass initiative, professional knowledge, problem solving techniques, human resource management and enhanced degrees of efficiency and effectiveness within the offshore and marine services.
Pamela Vercoe has experience working in vocational education with experience in mining, project management,
Leadership and Safety. She displays exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all times and is
extremely energetic & self-motivated.
Pamela is very outcome driven and she has a strong will to succeed. Her belief in continuous improvement across all areas throughout her own development as well as the way she encourages others. She has sound problem solving skills with a fantastic ability to be adaptable and she
demonstrates strong project management skills throughout all aspects her work.
Neville is the Principal Consultant for Workplace Safety Solutions at IFAP. He joined the IFAP team as an OSH Consultant in 2002 and by September 2005 was appointed to Operations Manager until May 2008.
Matt has been working in OSH and injury management for over 20 years. He has achieved Diploma in OSH and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Matt facilitates training at IFAP and throughout the state in the following courses: Certificate IV in OSH, ICA Induction, White Card, OSH Refresher, Intro to OSH, OSH for Supervisors, OSH for Representatives, Manual Handling, and Accident Investigation.
Kim re-joined IFAP’s Work Health and Safety team in 2014, to provide high level OSH Management Consulting and Training to IFAP’s clients. Over the years his career has moved through wide industry exposure, across State, Local and Commonwealth Government.
Jean-Paul Bijoux (JP) joined IFAP as a skills associate in August 2015. His extensive experience includes the offshore oil and gas industry, construction, logistics, and cranes and rigging on the waterfront. JP is completing a MBA majoring in oil and gas and is a registered WorkSafe Assessor in dogging, basic rigging, forklift, elevating work platform and non-slewing crane. As of early 2018, JP moved into the role of our senior OSH and Skills specialist and is training in the High Risk and Safety Reps areas in oil and gas, mines and OSH.
Di is a Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Consultant who also teaches/assesses in this area. She develops and teaches nationally accredited courses as well as tailoring the training to individual requirements for companies.
Christopher has completed a Bachelor of Science in OHS and also holds an Advanced Diploma of Occupational Health Safety and Training. He currently trains a range of IFAP’s course including Safety Health Reps, OSH for Supervisors and White Card for the construction industry. Christopher is an accredited NEBOSH Assess and Facilitator for the International General Certificate IV.
