Overview
The course is delivered by SETS Enterprises Pty Ltd RTO 52334 and is designed for persons who may be required to provide, co-ordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.
Course Outcomes
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Respond in an emergency situation
- Apply appropriate first aid procedures
- Coordinate first aid activities until arrival of medical assistance
- Communicate details of the incident
- Evaluate the incident

It is recommended for participants to have had previous first aid training.
Successful completion of the assessment requirements, will provide participants with a statement of attainment issued by SETS (RTO Code 52334) for HLTAID006 – Provide advanced first aid.
There is a maximum number of 12 participants per program.
This course can be conducted at IFAP’s North Lake (WA) training facility or at any facility that has a suitable classroom and training area.
