The course is delivered by SETS Enterprises Pty Ltd (RTO Code 52334) on IFAP's premises at North Lake. The course addresses the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The course is delivered by SETS Enterprises Pty Ltd RTO 52334 and is designed for persons who may be required to provide, co-ordinate and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Respond in an emergency situation
  • Apply appropriate first aid procedures
  • Coordinate first aid activities until arrival of medical assistance
  • Communicate details of the incident
  • Evaluate the incident


Successful completion of the assessment requirements, will provide participants with a statement of attainment issued by SETS (RTO Code 52334) for HLTAID006 – Provide advanced first aid.

This course can be conducted at IFAP’s North Lake (WA) training facility or at any facility that has a suitable classroom and training area.
