Overview
The chief fire warden program is delivered by SETS Enterprises Pty Ltd RTO 52334 and has been designed to give participants the skill and knowledge to perform the role of chief fire warden within the emergency control organisation (ECO) structure.
An Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) has the responsibility for enacting the company’s emergency response plans and procedures in the event of an emergency occurring. As such it is imperative that ECO members are trained and familiar with their company procedures in order to respond in a timely manner to the arising situation so that they can safeguard other employees as well as the business itself. This course is designed to assist the chief fire warden to understand their duties and responsibilities in the event of various emergencies that they may be faced with during the course of employment.

PUAWER005B Operate as part of an emergency control organisation (fire warden)
Successful completion of the assessment requirements will provide participants with a statement of attainment issued by SETS (RTO Code 52334) for PUAWER006B Lead an emergency control organisation.
This course can be conducted at IFAP’s North Lake (WA) training facility or at any facility that has a suitable classroom and training area.
There is a maximum number of 12 participants per program.
