The mandated Common Safety Training Program (CSTP) is an industry requirement for all newly employed or contracted entrants into the offshore oil and gas industry. The introduction of a common safety training model for the oil and gas industry has been an initiative of CEOs from operating companies acting through the APPEA CEO Safety Leadership Forum.
As an industry leading training organisation, IFAP offers the CTSP as a three-day course in Perth. Our Common Safety Training Program (CSTP) is comprised of hands-on training followed by a period of workplace behaviour demonstration at our training facility in Perth. In essence, the program is focused on the demonstration of essential workplace safety behaviours as identified by oil and gas industry leaders.
