This course is designed for CSTP participants who have passed the 12 month cut-off period without having completed their workplace observations.

- Respond to workplace incidents

Persons wishing to undertake the CSTP Refresher must have completed the initial full three day CSTP course.
On successful completion of the course and workplace assessment, lodged within 12 months, a Common Safety Training Program card will be issued through APPEA (Australian Petroleum and Exploration Association).
Note: If not already employed in the oil and gas industry, course participants have 12 months from the completion of training to have started the workplace demonstration component. If the participant has not found work in the oil and gas industry after 12 months they will be required to undertake the one-day CSTP refresher course.
