Overview
This course aims to refresh participants with the techniques, methods and problems associated with the launch, operation and recovery of fast rescue boat including rescue techniques for personnel in the water.

Course Outcomes
On completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Maintain the fast rescue boat for operations
- Prepare fast rescue boat and crew for operations
- Take charge of a fast rescue boat
- Respond to boat, equipment and crew emergencies or malfunctions
- Locate and retrieve casualties
- Recover the fast rescue boat

Participants must have completed the Fast Rescue Boat Operator course prior and must be fit to undertake the physical components of the training as they will be asked to sign a medical declaration upon registration.
On successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
Maritime personnel will be issued with a certificate showing compliance with the requirements of the STCW Convention, as amended.
