This intensive 2 day session equips the participant with the skill to recognise and respond with confidence to mental health issues in the workplace, including strategies and language to talk to employees appropriately about mental illness.
On completion a participant will be able to:
- Better understanding of legal responsibilities of both employees and employers
- Creating a mentally healthy workplace (maximising workplace wellbeing)
- Build awareness and understanding of anxiety and depression
- Explain the behavioural, emotional, physical and cognitive components of depression, anxiety disorders
On the successful completion of Mental Health Safety Training (Leaders and Managers) , an Australian Medical Association (WA) approved certificate of attendance will be issued to the participant.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
