This workshop will identify the sources of individual stress and will discuss practical stress management strategies including how to increase resilience. It will also explore the role of managers and supervisors in identifying and mitigating job-related stress.

On completion of this course participants should have an understanding of:

  • The origin of stress, how to recognise stress in themselves and others and how to address it
  • Their role in managing stress and how to implement strategies to avoid creating unnecessary levels of stress
