Kim re-joined IFAP’s Work Health and Safety team in 2014, to provide high level OSH Management Consulting and Training to IFAP’s clients. Over the years his career has moved through wide industry exposure, across State, Local and Commonwealth Government.
Over the last few years Kim’s focus has been on the resources and energy sector including both underground and open cut, Iron Ore, Gold, Nickel and Non-Ferris and oil and gas production facility maintenance projects and safety management.
Main clients in these areas were BHPBIO, Rio Tinto Iron Ore and FMG. Oil and Gas exposures include provision of support with Woodside Energy Ltd at Karratha Gas Plant and recently as HSE lead and support for the development of the tender for the supply of labour to Chevron offshore assets in WA through Transfield Services and Transfield Worley.
This has added to his skills and abilities giving a unique mix of skills and experiences. Kim is acknowledged and qualified as a Senior Occupational Health Safety and Training professional with experience managing environment aspects and impacts. He has also presented at numerous Industry forums, most notably Comcare Conference Canberra, WorkSafe Week Melbourne and IOSH – Cardiff, Wales (2005) as well as numerous local presentations.
